Gilbert police will request charges be filed against a Higley Unified School District bus driver and three teenage students in connection with scuffle on a school bus Feb. 15, police said Friday.
Police are asking the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office to charge driver Kim Sullivan, 54, with aggravated assault (intentional touching of a child 15 and under) and disorderly conduct - fighting; Samantha Taylor, 15, with aggravated assault of a school employee and disorderly conduct - fighting; and Cassandra Schlosser, 14, and Erin Sullivan, 16, both with disorderly conduct - fighting.
The incident, recorded on video from a camera above the bus driver’s seat, began after Taylor, a student at Williams Field High School, asked to get off the bus, which the driver had stopped to quiet the students.
A confrontation ensued between the student and driver, and Schlosser and Erin Sullivan, the driver’s daughter, became involved.
The three girls have been suspended from school and the driver has been put on paid leave by the district.

We can't see all that the drivers doing, but from what we can see I don't think she did a Single thing wrong.
It would have been easy to let her off the bus and "end it", but can you imagine a potential lawsuit if she dropped the kid off on the side of the road somewhere and something happens.
I hope the Paid leave is just while it gets investigated, and she should be given her job back. Hell she should have a lawsuite herself against the girl, and/or the school...what the hell was taken so long for the help she requested to come?

yea there's a reason why school bus drivers do not allow students to get off on rogue stops.... mainly because of fights... person A wants to beat the shit outta person B, so person A will get off on person B's stop... follow him/her and bring on an ass whoopin

The kid was making physically threatening gestures toward the bus driver at the 1:45 mark. I would say the bus driver would be totally justified if she clocked the kid and put her down at that point. She has a right to defend herself.
Threatening a school official should be a year-long suspension for the kid.
